The Carlsbad Friends of the Arts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-0259732) dedicated to making the arts an integral part of the community experience by helping to bring the highest quality arts and arts education programs to our region.
Founded in 1987, we remain committed to our original mission: to promote and support the programs and activities of the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office.

What We Do
The Carlsbad Friends of the Arts provides major support to the following programs:
A free summer concert series that highlights top-notch local, regional and national performers weekly in a beautiful park setting offering plenty of open space to dance and picnic, plus overall fun times!
Three-Part-Art program is an educational outreach program designed to introduce Carlsbad youths to the experience of interacting with and learning from original works of art.
Art-making programs offered in conjunction with Cannon Art Gallery exhibitions. (Formerly "Family Open Studios).
Exclusive member previews of new exhibitions at the Cannon Art Gallery.
